EIDXG was formed to encourage and facilitate Irish radio amateur’s who wished to explore the possibility of participating in a major DXpedition. There was a perception that this area of our hobby was for the elite and many who had liked to give it a go didn’t know where to begin.
Since our inception in 3rd of January 2016 we have encouraged membership of all skill levels to get involved with us on our way to making that 1st DXpedition. Along the way we all had something to learn and i hope you will enjoy following our story through out this site.

All members of our DXpedition trips pay their own expenses. Where we can we look for assistance to cover the shipping costs of necessary equipment and QSL card printing.
We are proud of what we have achieved on a small budget; in terms of travel, DXCC activated and contacts made.
